Hello! Extremely long time no see. I forgot about this blog for awhile, but then I realized this was an awesome form of self care for me and I enjoyed writing so here I am. BACK AT IT AGAIN!

Time for the blog, so title is very bold right? That is the point. It is time be bold. Bold in change. Bold in self-motivation and much more. We often get lost in the sauce of life, thinking that once we reach a certain destination it is just best to sit down and grab a bag of popcorn. But you want to know what the biggest regret of elderly are? NOT SETTLING! In 2018 a study found that 72% of people regret not fulfilling their dreams and aspirations. This study was highlighted by spring.org.uk. Now this is not only a grand percentage but something important to reflect in. Life is meant to be lived. Do not discourage yourself from seeking more opportunities because at the end of the day the biggest enemy in your life, is YOURSELF!

When you seek these opportunities or go beyond what you believe you are capable of, grand results come! Now, I am not saying you won’t have any failures, but you must encourage yourself and motivate yourself to seek more for the betterment of your life. There are always opportunities as long as you seek them and stay driven and determined. Do not take the easy way out! So Brii, what are some tips to achieve this? I got YOU!

1) Set Your Intentions Every Day

Okay, here is what we CANNOT do! ... wait for life to hand you stuff. You got this. Start your day by setting clear intentions! Even if it’s something small, setting that purpose will keep you focused and driven. If you can make a little progress every day, you’re moving in the right direction.

2) Take Small, Consistent Steps

I know it can feel overwhelming to go after big dreams. But guess what? Small, consistent steps are key. Focus on taking one step at a time instead of stressing about the finish line. Progress doesn’t have to be big, it just has to be constant.

3) Embrace Discomfort

One thing I have come to terms with...comfort zones are NOT your friend! Growth happens when you get uncomfortable. You gotta step out of what’s familiar. You might feel uneasy, but that’s the sign you’re doing something that challenges you. And you know what that means? That’s where the magic happens. ;)

4) Surround Yourself with Positivity

The people around you play a HUGE role in your journey (like literally). So, keep the energy high. Hang out with those who support your dreams. Positive vibes = positive results. The more you surround yourself with those who lift you up, the easier it gets to keep going.

5) Celebrate Your Wins

Don’t forget to give yourself a pat on the back for every step forward, no matter how small. This isn’t about being perfect. This is about making progress. Celebrate it. You’re doing amazing! Remember there is always someone wishing they had something you may not know is a blessing in your life!

6) Visualize Your Success

Take a few minutes each day to close your eyes and picture where you want to be. What does success look like to you? Whether it's smashing a goal or living the dream life, visualize it. The clearer your vision, the more you’ll be motivated to make it happen.

7) Find Your “Why”

Why do you do what you do? Connect with your deeper reason for pushing yourself. Is it personal growth? Is it for a better future? Once you figure out your “why,” it’ll make it 10x easier to stay motivated when things get tough.

8) Avoid Comparisons

SAVE YOUR MENTAL HEALTH AND DON'T COMPARE! Comparison is a thief of joy. Everyone’s path is different. What works for someone else might not work for you, and that’s perfectly fine. Focus on your own journey. You’re exactly where you need to be!

9) Rest and Recharge

A hard lesson for me was realizing nothing happens at a blink of an eye. Self-motivation doesn’t mean working yourself to the bone 24/7. You gotta take breaks. Recharge. Your energy is so important to keeping that drive going. Rest, self-care, and balance do it so you can come back even stronger!

Self-motivation can feel like a battle at times, but it’s the most powerful tool you have to create the life you want. Don’t let fear or doubt hold you back. Stay bold, stay hungry, and keep pushing forward, your future self will thank you for it!

And here’s the thing: there is NO deadline! It doesn’t matter how old you are, where you come from, or what your background is YOU are capable of success. It’s all about taking that leap. Don’t let anything or anyone hold you back from going after what you want. The only thing standing between you and your dreams is the decision to jump.

Remember, it’s never too late to start. Get out there, take that leap, and make it happen.
